This medium-strength alloyed titanium product contains 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium. In high-precision applications, a titanium grade 5 welded tube is used. Because they are heat treatable, they are used at temperatures above 400 degrees centigrade/750 degrees Fahrenheit. Because of their high melting point, the tubes can be utilised as heat exchanger tubes and in boilers, condensers, and superheaters. Because of their lightweight, corrosion resistance, and high strength, Grade 5 Titanium welded tubes are utilised in the aerospace, medical, chemical, and architectural industries.

Gr.5 is an amalgam with a portion of 0.25 per cent iron, 4 per cent vanadium, 6 per cent aluminium, and 0.2 per cent oxygen. However, it is unalloyed. Titanium Grade 5 combines quality, corrosion resistance, weldability, and fabricability.
