Commercially pure Titanium Gr.2 Washers’ mechanical qualities are regulated by “alloying” to various quantities of oxygen and nitrogen to achieve strength levels ranging from 290 to 550 MPa. Chemical processing condensers, evaporators, reaction vessels, Electroplating, Airframe skins, ductwork, brackets, galley equipment, Cryogenic vessels, Gaskets, Medical devices, Desalinization plant tubing, and tube heaters are just a few of the applications for Titanium Gr.2 Washers. A titanium grade 2 can be compared to austenitic stainless steel in machinability.
Titanium Grade 2 Washer can use a Heavy feed rate, low speed, and enough cutting fluid. Although titanium grade 2 can chip, safety precautions must be taken during the machining process since titanium chips are highly flammable. Hot rolling, forging, and hot pressing are all options for working with Titanium Gr.2 Washer.
This alloy can be stretched, head stamped, bent, and drawn at room temperature. The testing team conducts several tests on each product to assess the quality of manufactured products. This is feasible thanks to testing such as radiography examination, mechanical examination, wedge tensile strength, flaring examination, chemical analysis, hardness examination, fatigue examination, proof load examination, and pitting corrosion examination. Axial tensile testing, flexure testing, torsion testing, creep testing, drop weight testing, positive material testing, intergranular corrosion testing, ultrasonic testing, and more are available. These qualities include thermal conductivity, modulus of expansion, proof stress, electrical conductivity, tensile strength, yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, electrical resistivity, density, and melting point.
