The ASTM B564 Monel 400 Grade RTJ Flange is made of a copper-nickel alloy that is flexible, strong, and resistant to acidic corrosion. In temperatures ranging from subzero to 1,000°F (538°C), this alloy maintains its characteristics and performance. Cold-working is the only way to harden Monel 400 RTJ Flange. Monel 400 Grade RTJ Flange conforms to ASTM B564 and is a solid solution alloy that can only be hardened by cold working. ASTM B564 Monel 400 Grade RTJ Flange has shown remarkable resistance to hydrofluoric acid in all concentrations up to a boiling point. They can be repurposed for use in systems that quickly corrode or degrade. Extreme environmental conditions such as acidic and alkaline solutions, seawater, and various other characteristics such as stress, strain, and flexibility make a copper and nickel alloy a great choice. Marine engineering, chemical and hydrocarbon processing equipment, valves, pumps, shafts, fittings, fasteners, and heat exchangers require Monel 400 RTJ Flange. It can also be found in metal instruments and eyeglass frames.
