Titanium Alloy 3.7035 Welded Tubing

The ASTM B861 Titanium Gr 2 ERW Tube is manufactured and supplied by Hex Forged Inc. These Tubes are highly operational factory products using pure titanium alloy. We use a titanium gr 2 heat exchanger pipe with a solid strength-to-weight ratio that can be easily maintained at high temperatures. The alloy has excellent formability, is corrosion resistant in slightly reducing environments, and oxidises. Seawater and marine atmospheric corrosion resistance are high in grade 2 titanium erw tubings. The four C.P. grades have equal corrosion resistance, but mechanical qualities differ due to oxygen and iron concentration differences.

UNS R50400 titanium grade 2 erw tube has a density of roughly 40% of steel. However, the material compensates for this by having a strength almost as high as high-strength steel. The testing is carried out by a team of professionals using cutting-edge technology. Hardness test, mechanical test, chemical test, pitting resistance test, positive material identification test, intergranular corrosion test, macro-micro test, and flaring-flattening test are some of the tests performed on the product.
