Chloride ion stress corrosion cracking is not a problem for Inconel 800 RTJ Flange. The flanges are resistant to crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Aluminum and titanium content in Alloy 800HT RTJ Flange ranges from 0.85 percent to 1.2 percent. The Inconel 800H RTJ Flange, ASTM B564, has higher tensile strength and is resistant to crevice and pitting corrosion. The stress relief of Inconel 800HT RTJ Flange is done between 1000 and 1600 degrees Fahrenheit.
This ASTM B564 Inconel 800HT/800H RTJ Flange is frequently used in offshore oil drilling, petrochemicals, pharmaceutical equipment, specialized chemicals, seawater equipment, pulp and heat exchangers, condensers, and many other applications. These flanges are more prone to stress rupture, and creep-rupture occurs at higher temperatures. We do a variety of destructive and non-destructive quality inspections at Hex Forge Inc to ensure the performance and durability of Inconel 800/H/HT RTJ Flange.
