Welded alloys are prone to rusting on the grain boundary precipitates in general. They can be intermediate annealed, cold-worked, or work hardened because they are ductile. Forging can be done at temperatures ranging from 1750 to 2050 degrees Fahrenheit. Welding can be done with a gas metal arc, a gas tungsten arc, or a shielded metal arc. The quality controller conducts numerous tests to ensure that the tubes created are high quality. Hydrostatic testing, hardness testing, micro, and macro testing, chemical and mechanical testing, and flattening testing are some tests conducted by Hex Forged Inc.
